Trades Completed in Detail

Date: 2nd March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Championship
Teams: Derby v Colchester - SCORE: 5-1
Our Recommendation:
We're siding on a Derby win in this one. Although they have had a rocky few games their overall form this season has been excellent at home and away. Colchesters away record has been rocky and although they have had a few good wins away they will struggle with the current team at Derby. We're backing Derby to win this match and will be trading out after they take the lead. Current back odds are around 1.72. If they don't take the lead with the first goal we'll obviously have to hope they equalise and score another but our thoughts are they will be striking first here.
Our Trading Result:
We backed Derby at 1.87. They didn't let us down and scored within 5 minutes giving us trade out odds of 1.30 and a fantastic profit. Fast, profitable and easy trading for us again. Derby popped the second in after 20 minutes giving a trade out of 1.07 for those who stayed in.

Profit made on this trade = £46

Date: 3rd March
Time: 12.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Liverpool v Man Utd - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
Top of the table clashes rarely end in 0-0 draws and with the way Man Utd played in the cup there is not a lot of chance of that happening in this match. Man Utd have only had 3 draws all season and they all had goals in so the odds on the draw for this match seem the obvious choice for us. We'll be laying the draw at around 3.25 and trading out after the first goal by either team. There won't be a massive shift in odds on this one and the profit won't be huge but it will be an easy trade and easy money.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this one at 3.25. It was looking like a bad result for us all the way until the last minutes of the match when Man Utd hammered home the only goal of the match and saved our bacon. We got out straight away and made almost 100% profit on this one. Sometimes luck plays an important part in trading too!

Profit made on this trade = £90

Date: 3rd March
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Arsenal v Reading - SCORE: 2-1
Our Recommendation:
7 out of Arsenals last 8 home matches have ended with 3 or more goals being scored and being at home and hot favourites against Reading we think more of the same is on the cards. Reading can have a few surprises up their sleeves as they proved against Man Utd in the cup so a few goals are definately on the cards. We still fancy an Arsenal win but the safest bet here is backing over 2.5 goals and trading out after the first or second goal which will hopefully arrive in the first half.
Our Trading Result:
We got our back bet on the over 2.5 goals market at 1.87. The first goal was a long time coming and came from Arsenal after 51 minutes but the odds weren't good enough for a profit. It wasn't long before the second hit home from Arsenal again just before 70 minutes was up. We got out after the second goal at 1.54 securing a small profit of £21 on this one. Reading scored just as the full time whistle was about to go making the final score 2-1 and the over 2.5 goals we expected.

Profit made on this trade = £21

Date: 3rd March
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Man City v Wigan - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
This trade is going to be slightly against the grain. Man Citys odds in this one are a little over optimistic in our opinion and although Wigan have had a bad record away this season Man City have recently also had a terrible home run. City have only won 1 out of 6 home games so are far from on form. With Wigan spanking City 4-0 at home last time they met we think an away win or at least a Wigan first goal could be on the cards here. We'll be backing Wigan (around 4.00) and trading out after they hopefully take the lead.
Our Trading Result:
We backed Wigan to win at 3.95. They did us proud and got their one and only goal of the match after 18 minutes dropping the odds down to a magical 1.90 for us and we traded out with a £210 bet securing £101 profit on their win and £104 on any other result. Easy money.

Profit made on this trade = £101

Date: 4th March
Time: 4.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: West Ham v Tottenham - SCORE: 3-4
Our Recommendation:
We have an interesting contest here and it's a tricky one to call. Tottenham have only won 2 matches away from home all season but have score drawn 5 of their away games so a 0-0 draw is unlikely. West Hams home record is only marginally better than Tottenhams away record and the odds are against them here but our thoughts are they may clinch this one as the battle to get out of the religation zone is now really hotting up. We are laying the draw here (around 3.60) and will be trading out after the first goal by either team. If Tottenham get the first well make a profit but if West Ham get the first there is a chance the odds won't allow a great profit and may even result in a tiny loss but our advice would be to get out anyway. There is as much chance of a score draw here as there is a winner!
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw on this match at 3.65. As we feared might happen West Ham got in first with a goal and the odds didn't give much profit at all at 4.00 which was a shame. West Ham got the second just before half time and secured trade out odds of 7.00 for anyone that didn't trade out on the first goal. Tottenham came back strong in the second half and pulled it to a 3-4 win but we were already out with our profit although it was only tiny unfortunately. No matter when you got out the profit was there as the match didn't end in a draw although it looked likely at a numbet of points towards the end of the second half.

Profit made on this trade = £11

Date: 6th March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Champions League
Teams: Liverpool v Barcelona - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
Of the two Champions League matches tonight this one looks like the safest trade. The odds are very nicely balance and it is unlikely we will see a 0-0 draw here. Liverpool are 1-2 up on the first leg which was away so have 2 away goals and go into the match with a lead at home. This is likely to spur them on even more and there will probably be a goal or 2 in this one. As the odds on the draw are even we'll be laying the draw (around 3.40) and trading out after the first goal by either team.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.50 on this one. Barcelona scored the first goal in the second half and raised the odds on the draw to 5.30 which we took for our profit. It was a while in coming but a nice profitable trade.

Profit made on this trade = £33

Date: 7th March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Champions League
Teams: Arsenal v PSV - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
Arsenal are the only team who are returning home in the second leg in a losing position and playing PSV will be a tough challenge even at home. The obvious thing for the away team to do here would be to lock up and aim for the draw and as Arsenal are a low scoring team a lot of the time anyway there is a good chance of a low scoreline here. We're backing under 2.5 goals on this one and will be looking to get out around half time with hopefully a 0-0 scoreline.
Our Trading Result:
We backed under 2.5 goals at 1.70 on this one. We got out at 1.25 at half time with the score still sitting at 0-0 and weighted the profit equaly giving us £34 whatever the score ended up. The final result was 1-1 and under 2.5 goals as expected.

Profit made on this trade = £34

Date: 9th March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Championship
Teams: Birmingham v Derby - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
This is a top of the table clash and with both having won their last two matches and just 2 points seperating them the winner of this goes top. The likelyhood is that Birmingham will get the better of Derby here and we hope they get the first as we are laying the draw (around 3.50) and trading out after the first goal. Hopefully it will be Birmingham as their odds are slightly better and will produce a better profit for us. It is rare that top or bottom of the table clashes end in a 0-0 draw and his should be no exception as neither team draw often.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this one at 3.45. Birmingham got the only goal just before half time and gave us the trade out odds we wanted at 4.60. This guaranteed a profit of £23 across the board.

Profit made on this trade = £23

Date: 10th March
Time: 5.30pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Middlesbrough v Man Utd - SCORE: 2-2
Our Recommendation:
This looks like a Man Utd win as their away form against low table teams is almost immaculate excluding the hiccup against West Ham of course. There are a few options here but we think the best profit would be by backing (around 1.81) Man Utd to win which is what we will be doing. Trade out after Man Utd take the lead. They may not get the first goal but it is more likely they will and they have that knack of getting late goals to win matches so could be a good nailbiter for us! This being a Cup match means anything can happen.
Our Trading Result:
We backed Man Utd to win at 1.88. Man Utd didn't let us down and scored in the first half for us bringing the odds to trade out on down to a fantastic 1.29 securing our profit. We weighted our profit equally accros all possible outcomes and guaranteed £45 no matter what the result. Easy trade again.

Profit made on this trade = £45

Date: 11th March
Time: 12.30pm
Fixture: Scottish Premier
Teams: Celtic v Rangers - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
Another top of the table clash here and neither have lost a match for ages so we'll see a winner here but there is a chance of a goal from Rangers first and laying the draw could be a bad idea as the odds won't be good if that happens. We think these tow will be gunning for each other and there should be a few goals in this one. We are backing over 2.5 goals on this one and we'll be trading out after the first or second goal depending on the odds and how quickly they come. The odds should be great at around 2.20.
Our Trading Result:
We were away for this trade but as the scoreline was 0-1 and the first goal only came after 50 minutes we assume it was not possible to get out on the odds available so we have logged this as a loss.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 16th March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Championship
Teams: Southampton v Colchester - SCORE: 1-2
Our Recommendation:
Southampton have only lost 2 home games this season and although they have had a tricky run of late we fancy them to hammer this one home. The odds are very much weighted in that direction so we could get a good profit on them scoring the first goal here. The odds on the draw are around 3.95 which is a little high as Southampton do have a tendancy to draw a lot of games. We're going to back Southampton to win at 1.71 and will be looking to trade out after they take the lead.
Our Trading Result:
We got our back bet on this one at 1.62. Colchester struck the first blow immediately after kick off so we had to wait for more goals. Southampton equalized in the first half only to lose the lead again within a minute so again we had to wait for more action. Unfortunately the result stayed the same on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 17th March
Time: 12.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Man Utd v Bolton - SCORE: 4-1
Our Recommendation:
Man Utd should win this comfortably as they have a great record home and away against Bolton. The odds on the draw and Man Utd winning are not good so we're backing over 2.5 goals on this one (odds around 1.88) as Man Utd should come out firing and we're expecting a couple of goals in the first half. we'll be trading out after the first or second goal depending when they come.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 2.00. Man Utd came out firing as we predicted and got 2 goals in quick succession on the 14th & 17th minute giving us trade out odds of 1.14 and a fantastic £70 profit on the under and £76 on the over market for us. Man Utd closed the book with the 3rd goal in the 25th minute. Easy money for us and made up slightly for the last couple of bad trades.

Profit made on this trade = £76

Date: 17th March
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Wigan v Fulham - SCORE: 0-0
Our Recommendation:
Wigan and Fulham are next door to each other and Wigan are on great form at the moment so should get a victory here. Being at home should also spur them on and although the odds are not really in favour of either team they should take the lead in this one. The odds are nicely ballanced for this match so we'll be laying the draw (around 3.35) and trading out after the first goal by either team.
Our Trading Result:
We got the lay bet on this at 3.60. Unfortunately we had our worst case scenario here with a 0-0 draw so lost the whole stake.

Profit made on this trade = £-260

Date: 18th March
Time: 11.30am
Fixture: Championship
Teams: West Brom v Birmingham - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
West Brom have had a tough few games and lost their last 3 on the trot. Two of these have been at home and it is highly unlikely this will happen again so soon and we fancy this will be the match that turns their luck around. Often when playing top of the league teams the best is brought out in a side so we're going to lay Birmingham here (around 3.40) as there is a good chance of a draw on this match. We'll be trading out after West Brom take the lead or around half time if the match is still a draw.
Our Trading Result:
We got the lay on this at 3.40 and as expected West Brom got the first goal but it wasn't until just over 60 minutes into the match. We got out of this one at half time and secured our profit. It ended in a draw as predicted.

Profit made on this trade = £26

Date: 21st March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Conference
Teams: Halifax v Oxford Utd - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
Oxford had a great start to the season but have waivered recently so this will not be an easy match for them although the won 2-0 last time when they were at home. Although they are favourites there is a chance of a goal by Halifax and a draw but Oxford should be able to strike first as the battle for the top is key in their minds at the moment. We will be laying the draw and trading out after the first goal which will hopefully be from Oxford.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.50 on this one. The first goal came just after half time and gave us the trade out odds we needed at 4.70.

Profit made on this trade = £22

Date: 24th March
Time: 12.30pm
Fixture: International
Teams: England U21 v Italy U21 - SCORE: 3-3
Our Recommendation:
We may regret this one but here goes. The U21 team has worked well recently getting goals and beating Germany so Italy being a tough game for them will be sure to produce a goal or two. We're expecting England to take the lead here being at home (and Wembley as well) but we've been burned by England internationals before so are taking the easy option of laying the draw (around 3.35) and trading out after the first goal. England scoring first will produce the best profit for us as their odds are slightly shorter.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this match at 3.40. We completely missed the first goal unfortunately as it came in less than a minute and we missed the suspend on Betfair. By the time we had realised the game was 1-1. The 3rd & 4th goals also came too close together to get out so we traded out on the 5th goal at 4.46 and got our profit.

Profit made on this trade = £30

Date: 24th March
Time: 5.00pm
Fixture: International
Teams: Lithuania v France - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
This is an interesting matchup and although France are away from home we think they should get this one although maybe not as easily as they expect. They are short priced favourites but Lithuania being at home may well put up more resistance than they expect and a few goals could easily be scored here. We will be backing over 2.5 goals on this one (around 2.10) and we'll be looking to get out of the trade after the first or second goal depending when it gets scored. We are expecting a couple to come in the first half so we should have our profit by half time hopefully.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 2.30. France had a dissapointing game and we didn't get a goal until a while into the second half so lost our stake on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 25th March
Time: 1.30pm
Fixture: League 2
Teams: Lincoln v Swindon - SCORE: 2-3
Our Recommendation:
These two are evenly matched and sit next to each other in the league at the moment. We are expecting a close game but a winner as neither team like to draw 0-0. There has been a bad run on both sides recently with Lincolns home record going badly of late and also Swindons away games have recently suffered. That said we fancy Swindon to win this or at least get the first goal so we are backing the away win here (around 3.50) and will be trading out after Swindon take the lead. Obviously if that does not happen we will be in trouble but they have had a good away record before their last few and this should be the perfect oportunity for them to get back on form away from home.
Our Trading Result:
We backed Swindon at 3.50. The first goal came after just 15 minutes from Lincoln which was not good news but the equalizer from Swindon was very close behind. Swindon soon took the lead and were 3-1 up by the end of the first half and we got out with a great profit on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £95

Date: 27th March
Time: 6.30pm
Fixture: International
Teams: Brazil v Ghana - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
Back Brazil and trade out when they take the lead
Our Trading Result:
Brazil scored early and we got out at 1.16 with £25 profit.

Profit made on this trade = £25

Date: 27th March
Time: 7.00pm
Fixture: International
Teams: France U21 v Norway U21 - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
Back France and trade out when they take the lead
Our Trading Result:
Norway unfortunately got the first here and thats the way the score line stayed all game.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 28th March
Time: 7.00pm
Fixture: International
Teams: Germany v Denmark - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
Lay the draw and trade out after the first goal
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.20. Denmark scored late in the second half and we managed to get out with a healthy £50 profit due to the lateness of the goal.

Profit made on this trade = £50

Date: 28th March
Time: 7.30pm
Fixture: International
Teams: Serbia v Portugal - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
Lay the draw and trade out after the first goal
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.35. Portugal struck first and we got out at 4.80 securing £30 profit.

Profit made on this trade = £30

Date: 28th March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: International
Teams: Rep of Ireland v Slovakia - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
Lay the draw and trade out after the first goal
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.40. Ireland got the first and we got out at 4.90 for £30 profit.

Profit made on this trade = £30

Date: 30th March
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Championship
Teams: Leeds v Preston - SCORE: 2-1
Our Recommendation:
Leeds could well take this one being at home but they have no real hope of digging themselves out of the bottom of the table this season. Having won and drawn their last 3 will give them a boost though so we should see some goals and the safest option here is the lay of the draw (around 3.50) and back out of the trade after the first goal. Ideally the first will be from Preston to get the best profit.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.45. Preston hammered home the first after just 5 minutes and we got out with our profit. Leeds actually won the match as we expected but no matter.

Profit made on this trade = £25

Date: 31st March
Time: 12.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Liverpool v Arsenal - SCORE: 4-1
Our Recommendation:
Liverpool have had a tough few games and have not helped themselves much but at home to another great team like Arsenal should bring out the best in them this weekend. We are going to back Liverpool (around 2.35) and trade out after they hopefully take the lead.
Our Trading Result:
We backed Liverpool at 2.28. Liverpool scored after just 4 minutes securing our prorit of £60 no matter what the result. We layed Liverpool at 1.43. Nice easy profit.

Profit made on this trade = £60

Date: 31st March
Time: 5.15pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Watford v Chelsea - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
2nd in the table playing bottom of the table away from home and there will be goals. If there aren't more than 3 scored here Chelsea need shooting! Although Chelsea usually get on average 2 goals in away games when playing the bottom team there should be scope for a little more. The odds are great on this one for backing over 2.5 goals (around 2.05) and we'll be trading out after the 1st or 2nd goal depending when they are scored.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 0dds of 2.00. What a shocking performance by Chelsea. They scraped a win in the 90th minute. Not sure what went wrong here but the final scoreline is a joke and nobody was expecting it so unfortunately we lost our stake on this one. Time to sell the season ticket to Chelsea! :-)

Profit made on this trade = £-100
