| Date: 01/06/09 |
| Time: 19.00 GMT |
| Fixture: Tippeligaen |
| Teams: - SCORE: 0 - 3 |
Our Recommendation:
We made a switch here from the Lyn game because of liquidity and the timing is a little difficult for some members. Goals look more likely in this match with Valerenga's attacking style and poor defensive record but Valerenga's odds mean you will need average odds of under 3.5 to be able to break even whoever scores so a little chasing will be require to get lower average draw odds. The reason we mention this is Viking can take a whilst to get going and are a little concerned Valerenga will score 1st. Ideally it will go Viking's way but its best to be ready for it. A 1st half goal looks likely here so we will be having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals, liquidity is fairly poor at the moment so you might want to see how the market forms before using more than a £25 stake, staggering inplay is the best option as always. Usual plan if its goalless at the break, backing further if concerned inplay. The main trade will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal with some cover on the 0-0 as usual.
|
Our Trading Result:
We managed to get 3.45 matched before kick off on the draw trade, £8 on over 2.5 goals at average odds of 1.91 and £5 on the 0-0 at 16.5. As concerned prematch Valerenga took an early lead for us to trade out at 3.65 on the draw with £94 and 1.4 on the goals trade with £8 for a small overall profit of £3.

| Fixture: Tippeligaen |
| Teams: - SCORE: 2 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
No time for a preview as highlight by quite a few of you we have the time wrong for kick off just getting it to members before the match started. So the trading plan here was to lay the draw and trade out after a goal, with £5 of cover on the 0-0 intially backing further if concerned and a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, usual recovery if its goalless at this point.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.55, backed the 0-0 at 16.5 and backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 2.74 with £21 before the goal. Stromsgodset opened the scoring so not much of an odds movement for us to trade out at 3.75 on the draw with £94 and 1.77 on the goals trade with £32 for £10 overall.

| Fixture: Dutch Play Offs |
| Teams: Cambuur v Roda JC - SCORE: 1 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
Cambuur advanced into the final round of the Eredivisie promotion/relegation play-offs with a 2-0 win over FC Zwolle last Tuesday, earning the right to play 3rd from bottom finisher Roda from the Eredivisie. The winner will be playing top tier football next season so expect both sides to be playing for win here. Either side could win but considering how Cambuur have played this season, and their scoring record we should see them at least score but more than likely promoted.
We we will be laying the draw trading out after a goal here, and also having a side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break (trading out with the same stake by laying over), backing further as the odds drift with a few quid after the break if concerned 3 look likely for safety. Out at 1.8 on the draw as usual if its goalless. We will grab some cover on the 0-0, £10 initially backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.55, backed the 0-0 at 12.5 and backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 3.15 with £38 before the goal. Cambuur opened the scoring 34 mins in as we expected for us to trade out of the draw trade at 4.4 with £80 and 2.16 on the goals trade with £55 for £22 overall. Bit of a shame they conceded the equaliser 4 min's from time to eventually lose on penalties, better luck next year!

| Time: 20.00 GMT |
| Fixture: International |
| Teams: France V Turkey - SCORE: 1 - 0 |
Our Recommendation:
Are we going to see a better performance from this French side than we did against Nigeria? Well they definitely have the ability on paper against a misfiring Turkish side, that will also be missing some of their key players, and they won't want to suffer major abuse from their home fans twice in a week. This match doesn't look good for a high scoring match as neither side has been scoring freely lately but don't right off goals as the last 3 times these two sides have met three has been at least 4 goals scored. The key thing here is, how are France going to respond to losing their last home game, we feel this will drive them on to do just enough to secure the win and stop the home fans booing them off this pitch this time out. We will be backing France and trading out after they take the lead or draw level. If they go behind we will consider backing them further as the odds drift to get higher average odds. Obviously don't do this if Turkey are all over them, wait until they look like pulling it back. If you want to see how play develops early on please feel free before putting your full stake on (probably the safest option). We will also be having a side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half as we feel we will see the deadlock broken before the break, following the usual plan if its goalless going into HT. We will grab £5 of cover on the 0-0 backing further if concerned inplay and if Turkey are dominant early on its worth backing 0-1 with a few quid for some additional cover.
|
Our Trading Result:
We backed France at average odds of 1.9, backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 3.82 with £25 and backed the 0-0 at 11 with £5 and 0-1 with £7 when we got a little concerned that Turkey were going to score. France looked the better and took the lead through a penalty 38 min's in for us to trade out at 1.13 on the back bet with £135 and 2.3 on the goals trade with £40. This gave us a decent profit of £71.

| Fixture: WCQ |
| Teams: Algeria V Egypt - SCORE: 3 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
If Egypt lose then they will more than likely be going out in the 1st round.
Should they draw, Algeria are expected to qualify as they have what is supposed
to be the easiest game left against Zimbabwe, and Egypt will face Cameroon in
the last match, not an easy game for them. Due to this, nothing less than a win will do for this Egyptian side. Egypt will also
want to get revenge on Algeria who were an hampered their previous World Cup qualification. Its going to be a tough game with quite a few cards and more than likely both sides scoring. We will be laying the draw trading out after a goal here, and also having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break (trading out with the same stake by laying over), backing further as the odds drift with a few quid after the break if concerned 3 look likely for safety. Out at 1.8 on the draw as usual if its goalless. We will grab some cover on the 0-0, £7 initially backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
Betfair removed the inplay market for this one so we were stuck with a £50 bet from our lay the draw trade we got on at 3.25 before the match turned inplay and £7 on the 0-0. Could have been a big winner if we had all are stakes on as if finished 3-1. So overall £47.

| Time: 17.00 GMT |
| Fixture: Adeccoligaen |
| Teams: - SCORE: 1 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
Honefoss have looked the better side so far this season and continue to have a decent win record over similar away sides. Ham-Kam have picked up a draw and a win in their last 3 on the road but this was against two sides that are in shocking form so we shouldn't read much into this. Against good home sides they have been pretty poor over the last few seasons losing just over 75% of these meetings. Honefoss should avoid defeat here but do look good for the home win.
The main reason we like this match is we should be able to profit whoever scores 1st as the win odds are pretty similar and the 0-0 odds are currently sitting at 20, so we can cover this match with a small stake. So to confirm our trading plan, we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, grabbing £5 of cover on the 0-0, backing further if concerned and will support a 1st half goal by having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. (liquidity is pretty poor at the moment so you might need to adjust your stakes accordingly).
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.65 with only £36 of the £100 we were going to put on as we personally were looking for average odds under 3.6. We also had £5 on the 0-0 at 19.5 and £5 on overs at 1.72 as the game started well. The opener came seconds after we put the £5 on overs for us to trade out at 5.0 on the draw with £26 and 1.3 on the goals with £6 for a small profit of £4.

Our Recommendation:
Botafogo haven't started this season too well and are yet to win. Santos are at the other end of the table and are yet to lose. Over the last few years Santos have got the better of Botafogo and considering their respective starts to the season we are likely to see a similar result. Saying this we are a little concerned that Botafogo will score 1st as Santos have made lots of school boy errors in defense so far this season and we haven't seen any signs of this improving. Probably the most likely thing we will see here is both sides scoring which has happened in the last 5 away games for Santos. Similar to the previous trade we should be able to profit whoever scores 1st. We we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal here , grabbing £7 of cover on the 0-0, backing further if concerned and will support a 1st half goal by having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. (liquidity is pretty poor at the moment so you might need to adjust your stakes accordingly).
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at avergae odds of 3.35, backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 3.5 with £25 and backed the 0-0 at 14.5 and 4.8 with £17 overall. Botafogo were so close to scoring before the break but it just didn't happen but we were pretty confident it would happen for them after. We still followed the usual plan on overs getting out for no loss should the match finish under 2.5 goals at 5.0. But out of concern 3 were on their way after the break we backed over 2.5 again at 9.2 with £10. The draw odds reached our usual trade out point of 1.8 for us to trade out getting 1.83 matched leaving the loss on the draw as usual. The goals did come but after this point so we losed the 0-0 bet but were able to make £2 profit from the goal trade by getting out again at 4.0 after the 2nd. So overall £15 loss.

| Fixture: Tippeligaen |
| Teams: Lillestrom V Fredrikstad - SCORE: 4 - 2 |
Our Recommendation:
Lillestrom's last 10 games have seen 30 goals with all these games seeing both sides scoring. Against Fredrikstad they shouldn't have any issues getting on the scoresheet as they have a pretty decent record against bottom half sides. Fredrikstad played very well last week against Start securing the win so we are a little concerned they could win here but Lillestrom will probably start strongly as usual so expect them on the scoresheet 1st more than likely before the break. Out at 1.8 if its goalless as usual.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.47 backed the 0-0 at 14 with £7 and backed over 2.5 goals with £5 at 2.04 before the opener. Hell of a match this one! As expected Lillestrom started the stronger and took the lead for us to trade out at 4.7 on the draw with £71 and 1.38 on the goals with £6 for £23 overall.

| Fixture: Tippeligaen |
| Teams: Valerenga v Stabaek - SCORE: 0 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
Valerenga have been particularly impressive of late winning 5 of their last 6. Offensively they have been superb scoring 22 goals in their last 10 and they have scored in the last 7 H2H meetings so expect them on the scoresheet. Stabaek have looked pretty disorganised in their few matches so we will be surprised if they take 3 points here but they should also score as in general we usually see a competitive match between these two with both sides registering. We we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal here , grabbing £5 of cover on the 0-0, backing further if concerned and will support a 1st half goal by having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. (liquidity is pretty poor at the moment so you might need to adjust your stakes accordingly). Out at 1.8 if its goalless as usual.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.65 backed the 0-0 at 17.5 and backed over 2.5 goals at avergae odds of 2.2 with £14 before the opener. Stabaek were much improved for this match and managed to take the lead for us to trade out at 3.85 on the draw trade with £95 and 1.62 on the goals trade with £19 for £5 overall.

| Time: 20.00 GMT |
| Fixture: MLS |
| Teams: Columbus v Chivas USA - SCORE: 2 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
Columbus have only lost 2 of their last 20 at home and are undefeated so far this season. Their record against Western sides has seen them lose only 1 of their last 10 so despite Chivas sitting at the top of the table their is good cause to oppose an away win here. Columbus have drawn the majority of their games this season mainly because they play attacking football which leaves them open at the back. Both sides have scored in their last 6 which is what we expect again here but it might be a cagey affair. Chivas are very likely to play defensively here as they normally do on the road so we don't expect a big score line here but it should be an entertaining match for us. We we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal here , grabbing £10 of cover on the 0-0, backing further if concerned and will support a 1st half goal by having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. (liquidity is pretty poor at the moment so you might need to adjust your stakes accordingly). Out at 1.8 if its goalless as usual.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.35, backed the 0-0 at 12 and backed over 2.5 goals with £35 at avergae odds of 3.8 before the opener. Another match where the non-favorite scored 1st so not much of an odds movement on the draw. We traded out at 3.4 on the draw trade with £99 and 2.4 on the goals trade with £55 for £10 overall.

| Date: 15/06/09 |
| Time: 18.00 GMT |
| Fixture: Tippeligaen |
| Teams: Start V Molde - SCORE: 2 - 2 |
Our Recommendation:
These two are sitting 2nd and 3rd in the league so this should be a competitive match. Saying this neither side can afford to lose here if they have title ambitions as Rosenborg already have a 8 point lead at the top of the table only 13 games in, so we do expect a winner. Start are a banker for a goal at home average 2 goals a game and haven't failed to score in the last 10 on home soil. They very rarely start slowly and frequently find themselves on the scoresheet before the break (5 of the last 6) so the deadlock broken early looks likely. This is supported by Molde's away record against similar ranked sides. This looks ideal for laying the draw and trading out after a goal with a small side trade on over 2.5 goals. So to confirm we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, we will also be having a side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break and will be grabbing some cover on the 0-0 (£5), backing further if concerned.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.5, backed the 0-0 at 17.5 and backed over 2.5 goals with £14 at 2.04 before the opener. The equaliser came pretty quickly so none of us had a chance to trade out of either trade. As we had now lost our cover on the 0-0 for safety we threw away the potential profit on the goals trade by trading out at 1.13 with £110 giving us £90 of cover should the match continue without any further goals and no profit on over, advising all that asked to also do this. The next goal came at the perfect time for us to trade out of the draw trade at 4.6 with £75 for £14 profit overall.

| Time: 19.45 GMT |
| Fixture: Euro U21 |
| Teams:Italy U21 V Serbia U21 - SCORE: 0 - 0 |
Our Recommendation:
The last time these two met Serbia emerged shock 1-0 winners. This was in the opening game of the last European Under-21's Championship in Netherlands. Italy aren't likely to be happy with another loss to Serbia so should be all fired up for this encounter. They come into this game on the back of a very impressive 4-0 win against Denmark and carry an unbeaten record of 12 consecutive games into this match. Saying this Serbia are a side who make us a little nervous and could be one of the shock sides in this tournament, they are also in superb form, have only lost 1 of their last 12 and also disposed of Denmark to qualify for this tournament with a 2-0 agr win. There will be some serious young talent on the field for this one with Gojko Kacar wearing his scoring boots supported by the young Ajax superstar upfront for Serbia so we will be very surprised if they don't score. Italy also have their fair share of attacking power especially the Juve striker Seb Giovinco. Both sides are averaging over 2 goals a game so we should see both hit the back of the net, but a goal frenzy doesn't look likely as defensively they are both very soild at the back. There isn't much choice here as it could go either way so we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal. You will probably need to chase a better price on the draw by staggering your stake just incase Serbia score 1st (under 3.4 should be about right). We will also be having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. We will grab £10 of cover on the 0-0 backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.1, backed over 2.5 goals at avergae odds of 4.1 before the break and backed the 0-0 at 10 and 4.1 with £20 overall. 30 min's in for this one we were talking about 0-0 as defensively both sides we pretty solid. We went into the break goalless so got out of the goals trade at averge odds of 6.4 with the loss on over 2.5 as usual. More of the same after the break, with some excellent saves from the keepers so we got to our usual trade out point, getting 1.81 matched trading out with the loss on the draw as usual. No goals came so we ended with a loss of £17 overall. We did cover the loss by trading the draw again as the odds shortened (lots of members already do this, when in this situation) but as its not in the preview no additional profit.

| Time: 19.30 GMT |
| Fixture:Confederations Cup |
| Teams: South Africa V New Zealand - SCORE: 2 - 0 |
Our Recommendation:
South Africa failed to score against Iraq in their last game so need a win here if they want to join Spain in the Semi Final, hopefully coach Joel Santana can come up with some creative play this time out. Whilst South Africa definitely aren't in Spain's league ( Spain battered New Zealand 5-0 in their last match) they shouldn't have any issues breaking down New Zealand's poor defense especially if the New Zealand Captain Ryan Nelsen is absent at the back again. H2H South Africa have won their last 4 meetings and they haven't lost whilst playing at Rustenburg, winning their last 3. The All Whites are winless in their last 6 matches. They've lost 5, drawing the other game 0-0 with Botswana earlier this month. They have lost all 7 of their Confederations Cup games so far, scoring 2 goals and conceding 22. We really can't see New Zealand winning here but a draw is possible. We will be backing South Africa and trading out ideally after they take the lead or draw level. If they go behind early but look good for pulling it back we will look to back them again to get higher average odds (obviously don't do this if they are playing poorly). It might be worth judging how things start before getting your full stake on and hopefully you will grab a better price. We will be having a side trade on over 2.5 goals here, inplay during the 1st half as SA on the scoresheet early looks pretty likely, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. We will also grab £5 of cover on the 0-0 backing further if concerned inplay.
If you are feeling nervous inplay that New Zealand are going to score trading on 0-1 or laying SA in the next goal market should be considered.
|
Our Trading Result:
We backed South Africa at average odds of 1.32, backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 2.18 with £22 and backed the 0-0 with £5 at 15.5. Pretty obvious that South Africa were going to win this as New Zealand despite being well organised had very little to trouble South Africa. After the opener we were able to trade out at 1.11 on the win bet with £100 and 1.52 on the goals with £30 for £22 overall.

| Teams: Spain U21 V England U21 - SCORE: 2 - 0 |
Our Recommendation:
Both these two are expected to do well in this competition, and both have very talented sides fully capable of winning this match. Spain seem to have the edge on ability but England's strong physical presence is likely to be a challenge for the young Spaniards. Despite winning their opening game with 10 men England were less than convincing against Finland but can book their place in the last 4 with a win here and will need to be ready for an tough encounter against a Spanish side that is looking for 3 points after their opening draw against Germany. This really could go either way and more than likely we will see both sides on the score sheet as they both very really fail to score and the early goal looks on the cards. For this match we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal here , grabbing £10 of cover on the 0-0, backing further if concerned and will support a 1st half goal by having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. Out at 1.8 if its goalless as usual.
|
Our Trading Result:
The better side won here great result for the U21's.
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.3, backed the 0-0 at 9.4 and 3.7 with £20 overall and backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 4.2 before the break. We were unlucky not to see the early goal here so unfortunately went into the break goalless for us to trade out as usual getting out at average odds of 6.6. After the break we backed over again for safety with £5 at 15, minimising our potential loss after the 2nd at 2.3. The opener came bang on our trade out point for a mixture of us getting out before and after the goal. We had £48 traded out at 1.8 so were stuck in the middle when the match went suspended. After the goal we got out with another £32 at 5.0 minimising our liability, also dutching the goals market for some cover should it end in a draw (not in the preview so this profit will be ignored). So overall we finished £8 up.

Our Recommendation:
Sandefjord are on a bit of a down trend, winless in 5. Valerenga haven't lost any of their last 5 on their travels and H2H they have won their last 6 H2H meetings, so on paper it doesn't look good for Sandefjord. Both sides do look good for scoring in this encounter and more than likely finishing with 3 points going to Valerenga.
For this match we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, grabbing £7 of cover on the 0-0, backing further if concerned and will support a 1st half goal by having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. Out at 1.8 on the draw if its goalless as usual.

Our Recommendation:
Iran will certainly be the more motivated side as they can still qualify for the semi finals here compared to New Zealand who are already out. Whilst New Zealand probably ear marked this as a possible win match for themselves, they don't look equipped with the tools for this job. Coach Milutinovic rested Iraq's two best strikers in their last outing against Spain which could be a smart move as they come fresh into this crucial match. Iraq definitely won't be playing defensively as we have seen them play in the rest of their matches in this competition, as this is a must win. Whilst they haven't won an international in over 12 months we feel this will end here. We will be backing Iraq and trading out ideally after they take the lead or draw level. If they go behind early but look good for pulling it back we will look to back them again to get higher average odds (obviously don't do this if they are playing poorly). It might be worth judging how things start before getting your full stake on and hopefully you will grab a better price. We will be having a side trade on over 2.5 goals here, inplay during the 1st half as an early goal looks likely, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. We will also grab £5 of cover on the 0-0 backing further if concerned inplay.
If you are feeling nervous inplay that New Zealand are going to score trading on 0-1 or laying Iraq in the next goal market should be considered.
|
Our Trading Result:
How crap were Iraq in the 1st half! Loads of members were concerned here as everything was coming from New Zealand early on. We backed Iraq at 1.58 with half our stake before kick off and couldn't justify putting any more on. We backed the 0-0 at 11 and 3.8 with £15 overall and layed Iraq to score 1st in the next goal market at 1.52 with £25. Iraq were better in the 2nd half but we were able to trade out in profit as our 0-0 bet covered the liability on the back bet midway through the 2nd half for us to trade out at 3.3 with £24 on the back bet on Iraq for a loss of £26 which was covered by trading out at 1.9 on the 0-0 with £38 for a £28 profit on the 0-0. We also closed the lay bet on Iraq to score 1st as they upped their game with about 20 to go getting out at 2.96 with £13. We have to admit we overlooked the goals trade here by accident so would have closed it at the break and probably backed it again after the break when the tempo changed with a loss of around £10 (as no goals came to close it again) so we will take this off our profit to end with £2 overall.

Our Recommendation:
Atletico haven't had the best start to the season and currently sit at the bottom of the table with only 1 win from their 6 games so far. Their only win came against a side that is sitting 1 point above them so were not sure how much you can read into this other than they won their last game coming into this match so should at least have an improvement in moral. Palmeiras had the opposite start to the season with only 1 loss and definitely look the more rounded at this stage of the season. Athletico have looked pretty decent on the offensive though so should score here but severally lacking at the back hence their very poor defensive record and their league position so Palmeriaras should exploit this and continue their decent run. There are a few player concerned for the away side here so this match could go the other way but whoever win's this one we should be able to profit as long as a goal comes before our usual trade out point. For this match we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, from either side. We will also be having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break and will be grabbing some cover on the 0-0 £7 initially, backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.4 backed the 0-0 at 14.5 and 5.1 with £17 and backed over 2.5 goals at average odds off 3.4. No goal before the break but goals did look very likely. We still traded out for no loss on under 2.5 as usual getting out at average odds of 5.3. After the break the opener came for us to trade out of the draw trade at 4.3 with £78. The odds hadn't drifted to a desired level yet on the goals market for a safety bet so we hadn't got back in at this point so after the opener we backed again as the odds drifted at 4.4 with £10 for some protection. A little time after the equaliser we were advising our members to back overs again with another £10 as we didn't feel either side were happy with 1 - 1 but unfortunately only a few of us managed this before the next goal (we didn't) so a loss of £11 overall.

| Teams: Stromsgodset v Tromso - SCORE: 2 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
Neither of these two are in great form but both look good for scoring and conceding. H2H Tromso have had the better of Stromsgodset in recent years and it again looks likely that they will avoid defeat this time out but we do expect them to concede as they haven't kept a clean sheet in the last 10 on their travels. It shouldn't really matter who scores here as the odds on the win for both are sitting around 2.7 so we will profit as long as a goal comes before our usual trade out point if we lay the draw. So to confirm we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, from either side. We will also be having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half as the deadlock looks good for being broken before HT, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break and will be grabbing some cover on the 0-0 £7 initially, backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.45, backed the 0-0 at 14.5 and 4.8 with £15 overall and backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 3.2. Lots of chances before the break but unfortunately no goals so we traded out of the goals trade at average odds of 5.4. About 1 min into the 2nd half Tromso took the lead for us to trade out of the draw trade at 4.0. We also backed over 2.5 goals again at 2.2 for some safety. A few minutes later the equaliser came making over 2.5 goals look very much on the cards so we backed over again at 1.58 to split the potential loss, most who reported in moved the loss onto over as per the manual which would have paid off with the last second winner form the home side. So overall a loss of £34.

| Teams: Viking v Brann - SCORE: 1 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
Our main consideration's here are Brann's ability to score and Vikings poor defense. Offensively Brann have looked very sharp in recent weeks, hitting the back of the net in their last 10 home and away. Viking keeping a clean sheet against them looks very unlikely. We have seem Brann make quite a few basic errors defensively themselves this season so Viking also on the scoresheet also looks on the cards. This match is a similar to the previous where we should be able to profit whoever scores 1st, so we will use the same plan as above for this match. Laying the draw and trading out after a goal, from either side.
|
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.4, backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 3.6 before the break and backed the 0-0 at 15.5 with £7. We were very surprised we didn't see a 1st half goal here as both looked good for scoring. At the break we got out of the goals trade at average odds of 4.6. In the 2nd half we backed over 2.5 goals again for a little safety at 8.0 with £10. A short time after a goal came from Brann for us to trade out at 4.6 on the draw trade with £76 and grab £6 from the goals market for £20 overall.

| Teams: Italy V Brazil - SCORE: 0 - 3 |
Our Recommendation:
Italy looked unconvincing against the USA, having to come from a goal down to win against a 10-man side. They followed this up with a surprise loss to Egypt meaning they must win here. Brazil got off to a great start in their 1st match against Egypt, before having to rely on a last-minute Kaka penalty to triumph 4-3. Their defensive issues from the previous match weren't visible in their game against the USA and of the two sides they look the better side by far. Whilst Italy need a win here and Brazil are already on their way to the semi-finals we don't think they will role over for the Italians. Brazil have had little issue scoring of late hitting the back of the net at least twice in their last 5 games, so we expect them to score here and with Italy's necessity to win here we also expect them to register making this for an entertaining game. For this match we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, from either side.
|
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.25 backed over 2.5 goals with £26 at average odds of 3.65 and backed the 0-0 at 11. Brazil were clearly the better side and going to win here. After they took the lead we traded out at 4.8 on the draw with £60 weighting the profit towards the win to hopefully recoup the early loss and 2.18 on the goals trade with £40 for £51 overall.

| Teams: Finland U21 V Spain U21 - SCORE: 0 - 2 |
Our Recommendation:
The Fins are already out after losing their opening two fixtures and Spain have only picked up 1 point from their two games. The pressure is definitely on Spain and to progress they will need to win here by a few goals and hope England can defeat 2nd placed Germany by a few as they have the upper hand on goal difference. Spain haven't actually been that bad, they just missed lots of decent opportunities. They should win here and by how many will be up to Finland. We are expecting them to play defensively so they can take home a respectable result which could see Spain win but pack their bags. For this match we will be backing Spain and trading out after they take the lead or draw level. If they go behind early but look good for pulling it back we will look to back them again to get higher average odds (obviously don't do this if they are playing poorly). It might be worth judging how things start before getting your full stake on and hopefully you will grab a better price inplay. Our Trading Result:
We backed Spain at average odds of 1.58 backed the 0-0 at 16 and backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 2.82 before Spain took the lead with £19. After the goal we traded out of the back bet at 1.15 with £110 and 2.08 on the goals trade with £25 for £40 overall.

Our Recommendation:
Due to backend going down and spending our time trying to get it sorted we have missed the original match so have reverted to the Spain game. We will also be having a side trade on over 2.5 goals here, inplay during the 1st half as an early goal looks likely, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break. We will also grab £5 of cover on the 0-0 backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We backed Spain at average odds of 1.37 initially, backed over 2.5 goals with £32 at average odds 2.54 and backed the 0-0 at 15 with £5. Spain were not their usual self during the 1st half with a poor work rate they deserved to go behind. After the opener from USA we traded out of the goals trade at 1.68 with £48. We didn't have confidence they would pull it back until later in the match backing them again with £50 at 2.72 to get higher average odds should they equalise so we could potentially trade out in profit. We did lay Spain to score next in the next goal market a little later and which paid off but as we missed it in the preview we can't report the profit. Ultimately very few traders would have done well here as Spain looked good for equalising so would have been favoring this outcome. Overall £140 loss and one of the 5% of matches that fail with this method unfortunately.

| Teams: Lillestrom V Molde - SCORE: 0 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
Lillestrom have lost 90% of their home matches against top 3 sides over the last 3 seasons but they have rarely carried an unbeaten run of 6 matches into these encounters so we could see one go against the trend here. They still have the habit of scoring and conceding (9 of their last 10 and all of their last 10 at home) but should put in a good performance here against 2nd placed Molde. H2H Lillestrom have also avoided defeat in the last 5 meetings at their home ground but Molde also haven't been sitting in the top 3 in these meetings, so this match is tough to call but with the win odds similar and goals very likely we should be able to profit here. For this match we will be laying the draw trading out after a goal, and also having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break (trading out with the same stake by laying over), backing further as the odds drift with a few quid after the break if concerned 3 look likely for safety. Out at 1.8 on the draw as usual if its goalless loss on the draw. We will grab some cover on the 0-0, £5 initially backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.4, backed the 0-0 at 16, 5.5 and 2.2 with £25 overall and backed over 2.5 goals at average odds of 3.6 with £20 as we couldn't justify backing overs any further during the 1st half. We went into the break goalless with only a couple of reasonable chances so traded out of the goals trade with the loss on over 2.5 as usual at average odds of 4.7. Still no goal before our usual trade out point of 1.8 on draw so we got out as usual with the loss on the draw. A last minute goal from Molde means we ended with a loss of £25 overall. On a positive note another win for Terry and hos trialists. He is on a storming run this month (Lillestrom was won of these) next month all TA members will have them for free!

| Teams: Italy U21 V Germany U21 - SCORE: 0 - 1 |
Our Recommendation:
There is a place in the final awaiting the winner here so we should see a fiercely fought contest. The last time these two met Germany secured the win but Italy have looked the better side so far in this tournament and their last meeting wasn't a competitive match. Both sides look good for scoring here as offensively they are very strong but they are also solid defensively so a goal feast doesn't look on the cards. Historically both sides have a strong 1st half scoring record despite the likelihood of it being low scoring so we should see the deadlock broken before the break. Therefore we will be having a side trade on over 2.5 goals, following the usual plan if its goalless at HT. The over 2.5 goals odds are pretty high so make sure you stagger your stake if you have a side trade as the odds will be around 7 at the break . Our main trade will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, as we should just about be able to profit whoever scores 1st. We will get out at 1.8 on the draw if its goalless as usual and will grab £8 of cover on the 0-0 backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.1, backed the 0-0 at 9.2 and 4.2 with £15 overall and backed over 2.5 goals at avergae odds of 4.8. We went into the break goalless so traded out of the goals trade as usual with the loss on over 2.5 goals getting out at avergae odds of 6.6. Germany took the lead just after HT for us to close the draw trade at avergae odds of 3.75 with £82. We didn't back overs again as it was a tight match and as prematch didn't think we would see more than 1 or 2 goals, advising those who asked us to split the loss if a equaliser came with more than 10 min's left. So £2 overall.

Our Recommendation:
Atletico have simply been superb so far this season, yet to lose and scoring for fun (17 goals in 7 games and an average of 3 scored a game on their travels). They shouldn't have any issues continuing their scoring record here as Barueri look to have issues at the back and frequently leave themselves vulnerable on the counter. Barueri also look good for scoring as Atletico only really care about scoring themselves. It should be an entertaining match with more than likely both sides scoring. Both sides have fairly even odds so we should be able to profit whoever scores 1st by laying the draw. So for this match we will be laying the draw trading out after a goal, and also having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break (trading out with the same stake by laying over), backing further as the odds drift with a few quid after the break if concerned 3 look likely for safety. Out at 1.8 on the draw as usual if its goalless loss on the draw. We will grab some cover on the 0-0, £5 initially backing further if concerned inplay.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.6, backed the 0-0 at 16.5 and backed over 2.5 goals with just £5 at 1.8. As expected a very entertaining game. The opener came from Barueri for us to trade out of the draw trade at 4.3 with £82, we left the goals trade here as we only had £5 on expecting it to finish over 2.5. So we finished £17 up.

Our Recommendation:
15 games in Rosenborg are still unbeaten scoring 31 goals and sit top of the Tippeligaen. Valerenga took a few games to get started this season but have steadily climbed the table and now sit jnt 3rd. This is going to be a hard fought match but both sides style of play should deliver goals. Rosenborg haven't failed to score in the last 10 and Valerenga haven't kept a clean sheet this season against the better offensive sides. When they met back in March Rosenborg convincingly won 3-0, whilst this was an easy win for Rosenborg, Valerenga have improved in the last few months so this should be a closer contest more than likely with both sides on the scoresheet. For this match we will be laying the draw trading out after a goal, (if you want to chase a shorter price please feel free, just incase the home side score 1st) and also having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, following the usual plan if its goalless at the break (trading out with the same stake by laying over), backing further as the odds drift with a few quid after the break if concerned 3 look likely for safety. Out at 1.8 on the draw as usual if its goalless loss on the draw. We will grab some cover on the 0-0, £5 initially backing further if concerned inplay.

We layed the draw at average odds of 3.47, backed the 0-0 at 16.5 and backed over 2.5 goals with £32 at avergae odds of 2.66 before the goal. Our Recommendation:
These two meet yet again but there is more at stake this time out in this U21 European Final. England are without Joe Hart due to his yellow card against Sweden, they will also be missing some attacking prowess with Gabriel Agbonlahor and Fraizer Campbell out. England scoring past Germany's superb keeper will be a tough ask and they will definitely need to play better than they did against Sweden or Pearce will be suffering his 3rd defeat at the hand of Germany this time as a manager. This will probably come down to who want's it most and isn't likely to be a goal feast with England's lack of fire power and Germany's superb defense. For this match we will be laying the draw and trading out after a goal, we will also be having a small side trade on over 2.5 goals inplay during the 1st half, staggering our stake as usual (we should be pretty safe that 3 won't come after the break so it makes sense to have this side trade, just incase the deadlock is broken early). Usual plan if its goalless at the break or concerned 3 goals are on their way. We will also be grabbing £10 of cover on the 0-0 backing further if concerned inplay its going to finish goalless. Out at 1.8 on the draw as usual although you might be able to close the draw trade and the 0-0 trade with a small profit around this point if you have grabbed enough cover on the 0-0 early on so feel free to choose your exit strategy should you need it.
|
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at average odds of 3.1, backed the 0-0 with £10 and backed over 2.5 goals with £20 at average odds of 3.2 before the goal. Clearly a different match than expected pre-match with England's enforced changes severely affecting their ability. Germany opened the scoring midway through the 1st half for us to trade out of both trades. We got out at 3.9 on the draw trade with £77 and 1.92 on the goals with £33 for an overall profit of £24.
