Trades Completed in Detail

Date: 3rd February
Time: 12.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Liverpool v Everton - SCORE: 0-0
Our Recommendation:
Liverpool are on a run at the moment and their home record against lower placed teams has been great with good scorelines and early goals. We're backing over 2.5 goals in this match at odds around 2.16 and we'll be looking to get out after the first or second goal depending when they are scored. We wouldn't be surprised to see a couple in the first half here.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 1.99 on this one. What a scoreline. Liverpool didn't evn manage to get one home and the scoreline ended 0-0 so no chance of a trade out. A very surprising result for this match.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 3rd February
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Wigan v Portsmouth - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
Wigan have the worst form in the Premiership and it is unlikely even at home that they will get the better of an in form Portsmouth. We think a good trade on this would be to back Portsmouth but as they are away and can occasionally slip up we think the safest trade is to lay the draw. The odds are almost exactly even on the 2 teams so laying the draw at around 3.35 will see profit when we trade out after the first goal. It won't matter who scores it.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay on at 3.35. The first goal was a while in coming and surprisingly it came from Wigan but the odds were there to trade out and we got out at 4.50. We wighted the money to a win as the first trade of the day was a loss and took £32 profit.

Profit made on this trade = £32

Date: 4th February
Time: 4.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Tottenham v Man Utd - SCORE: 0-4
Our Recommendation:
Although away from home there should be no stopping Man Utd. This won't be an easy game though and if Man U get ahead early Tottenham will not lay down and take it. This is our prediction and as such we think there will be a good goal count. We are backing over 2.5 goals on this one at odds around 1.95 and we'll be trading out after the first or second goal depending on how quickly they are scored and what odds are available. Hopefully we'll see 2 in the first half for a good profit.
Our Trading Result:
We backed the over 2.5 goals market at 2.02. There was just one goal in the first half from Man Utd and the odds were not quite good enough for a profit at 2.20 so we stuck in the trade. Man Utd got the second early in the second half for us and we got out of the trade at 1.35 securing a nice little £52 no matter what the final score. The third wasn't long coming from Man Utd and a 100% profit for the brave.

Profit made on this trade = £52

Date: 6th February
Time: 8.00pm
Fixture: Int. Friendly
Teams: Brazil v Portugal - SCORE: 0-2
Our Recommendation:
We don't often trade on International friendly matches but in this case the odds on Brazil (currently around 2.04) are very favourable. Statistically this should go Brazils way and although they may not be fielding their strongest side we think they will still be more than a match for Portugal. Usually there are not too many goals in their games but once one is scored they tend to defend the lead well. We are backing Brazil and trading out after they take the lead.
Our Trading Result:
We got our back bet on Brazil at 2.36. What a disaster this turned out to be. Brazil had nothing in the tank at all and were very dissapointing.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 9th February
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Coca Cola Championship
Teams: Southend v QPR - SCORE: 5-0
Our Recommendation:
Both of these two are simmering towards the bottom of the table and although QPR are away from home they are yet to have a 0-0 draw this season and we fancy them to maintain that run here. It's a difficult one to call for the winner so we're laying the draw (around 3.40) and trading out after the first goal by either team. Southend scoring first will give us the best profit.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.40. Southend came out fighting and got the first goal after just 9 minutes securing our profit. We had a long wait till the next goal but 4 more came within 20 minutes for Southend at the end of the match.

Profit made on this trade = £35

Date: 10th February
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Man Utd v Charlton - SCORE: 2-0
Our Recommendation:
Pretty much top v bottom and should be an open and shut case in the first half. Man Utd at home are almost impossible to stop at the best of times and have pulled some pretty impressive scorelines out the bag recently. We think this will be another high scorer and we are backing the over 3.5 goals market (NOT OVER 2.5) at odds around 2.40. We'll be getting out when the odds allow which will hopefully be in the first half after a couple of goals.
Our Trading Result:
We got our back bet on the over 3.5 goals market at 2.30. The first goal was ages coming and appeared after 24 minutes which wasn't good for us as at that scoring rate we weren't going to see 4 goals. We got out of the trade at the availableodds of 2.40 and took a small loss on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £-10

Date: 10th February
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Sheff Utd v Tottenham - SCORE: 2-1
Our Recommendation:
These two rarely have a 0-0 draw and the odds are quite nicely balanced between them so we'll be laying the draw again here at around 3.40. The best result for us is Tottenham scoring first which will provide the best profit for us but we should get a result no matter who gets the first goal.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay on the match at 3.55. The first goal came like lightening after just 2 minutes from Tottenham and we got out of the trade at 4.20 making a nice profit.

Profit made on this trade = £30

Date: 11th February
Time: 4.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Arsenal v Wigan - SCORE: 2-1
Our Recommendation:
Wigan have been letting a fair few goals in of late and playing Arsenal will be a tough challenge for them at home. This should be another high scorer and we're backing over 2.5 goals (around 1.80) on this one. We'll be trading out when odds allow which will hopefully be after 2 goals in the first half but even one goal should drop the odds dramatically for us.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 1.84 on this match. The first goal came towards the end of the first half from Wigan so it looked like an equalizer and we stayed in. odds were available at 1.70 to get out on after the first goal. The second and third came late on in the second half but the final score meant we scored a 100% profit on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £100

Date: 13th February
Time: 8.00pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Middlesbrough v Bristol City - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
FA Cup matches are well known for their upsets and this isn't cut and dry for Middlesbrough although they have had some great home games recently with plenty of goals. They even held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw recently which is no mean feat, The odds on the draw are obviously a bit high as Middlesbrough are clear favourites so we are going to be backing over 2.5 goals on this one and trading out after the first or second goal is scored which will hopefully be in the first half.
Our Trading Result:
We got our back bet on at 1.86 on this match. The first goal came after just 23 minutes from Bristol and the odds were 1.58 to trad out one giving a nice little profit.

Profit made on this trade = £18

Date: 14th February
Time: 8.05pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Bolton v Arsenal - SCORE: 3-1
Our Recommendation:
This has the makings of a classic match. Both of these being next to each other in the league and on good form will mean there will be a winner here. Bolton are on a particularly good run at the moment while Arsenal have had a few difficult matches although they have won most of them. Our feeling on this one is that Bolton may scrape it but the likelyhood of a 0-0 draw is remote so we'll be laying the draw (around 3.60) and trading out after the first goal by either team. Arsenal scoring first will be the best result for us as they are slight favourites but it shouldn't matter who gets the first.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on the draw at 3.40. Arsenal banged one home after just 13 minutes and secured our profit on this one. The equaliser came on the stroke of full. Arsenal then grabbed towo goals in extra time but we were out and in profit long before that.

Profit made on this trade = £30

Date: 16th February
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Coca Cola Division 2
Teams: Walsall v Lincoln - SCORE: 1-2
Our Recommendation:
Walsall although top of the division have drawn 3 of their last 4 matches at home and have had a rough time winning just 1 of the last 5 games. Lincoln have faired a little better recently and their away scoing record is fairly good as well. With teams near the top you either tend to get low scoring draws or high scoring shoot-outs. We're going to back over 2.5 goals in this one as Lincoln will be looking for 3 points here to take them into second place and both teams should come out guns blazing. We'll be getting out of the trade after the first or second goal which will hopefully be in the first half.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 2.18. We got out after 19 minutes as the first 2 goals came on the 14th and 15th minutes dropping the odds to 1.15. A fantastic profit and really easy money for us. £85 no matter what the result and not bad for just 20 minutes work! For those that stayed in the trade the third goal came just before half time and would have rewarded with 100% profit.

Profit made on this trade = £85

Date: 17th February
Time: 12.30pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Arsenal v Blackburn - SCORE: 0-0
Our Recommendation:
Although this is an FA cup match there is a good chance of a similar scoreline to the last time these two met when Arsenal were at home. The scoreline was 6-2 and although this will be a tighter game probably, being a cup match, the odds on over 2.5 goals is too good to miss. We will be backing the over 2.5 goals market at around 1.95 and laying after the first or second goal depending on the available odds. Hopefully we will see 2 in the first half as there were 4 in the last match!
Our Trading Result:
We got our bet on this market at 1.92. What a load of rubbish this turned out to be. 0-0 at full time and Arsenal messed things up royally again for us. Another team to steer clear of in your trading callendars.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 17th February
Time: 5.15pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Man Utd v Reading - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
Reading on paper have won 5 of their last 6 matches but 4 have been at home and against teams in the bottom 7 so in reality this is not a great feat. Man Utd have won the last 3 on the trot but again against low placed teams. That said they have only lost 3 matches this season and will have their focus clearly aimed on doing the double so this should be a win for them. With the tactics of Steve Coppell confusing many we think the goal count will be high for Man Utd so are backing over 2.5 goals again on this match at odds of 1.70 and laying after the first or second goal depending when they are scored.
Our Trading Result:
We backed the over 2.5 goals market at 1.68. The first goal didn't come until the end of the first half and the odds only dropped to 2.24 to trade out on so we stayed in for the second. The second goal came afte 67 minutes and brought the odds down to 1.69 which we got out on for a loss. No profit here but a good example of how trading can result in a minimul loss situation when things don't go to plan.

Profit made on this trade = £-1

Date: 18th February
Time: 4.00pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Fulham v Tottenham - SCORE: 0-4
Our Recommendation:
These two have had a turbulent time of late and Fulham love to draw matches so there probably won't be too many goals here. Both have no real goals in the premiership so will be concentrating hard on the cup and there will be a winner here one way or another. The odds reflect that and are perfectly matched so we will be laying the draw (around 3.40) and trading out by backing after the first goal by wither team.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.55 on this match. Tottenham got the first after just 7 minutes and secured our profit for us at odds of 4.30. It stayed that way till half time and Tottenham hammered home 3 more in the second half.

Profit made on this trade = £22

Date: 21st February
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Champions League
Teams: Barcelona v Liverpool - SCORE: 1-2
Our Recommendation:
Both teams are slightly out of form at the moment but Liverpool have qualified top of their table and have had a good run in Europe. Barcelona have a few players out of form at the moment and are on a 22 match unbeaten run at home in European games so are obviously the favourites. This will be a tight game in all likelyhood and we're either expecting an upset with Liverpool taking the lead or a draw here so we are going to lay Barcelona and trade out of the game either after a goal by Liverpool or around half time if still 0-0 and the odds are good enough to make a profit.
Our Trading Result:
We layed Barcelona at 1.81. They got the first goal but the equaliser wasn;t long in coming from Liverpool just before the end of the first half. Liverpool sealed their fate in the second half at around 70 minutes and gave us the oportunity to trade out for a nice profit.

Profit made on this trade = £65

Date: 21st February
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Champions League
Teams: Inter v Valencia - SCORE: 2-2
Our Recommendation:
Inter are almost unstoppable in the Italian league and although this won't be a snip they should get the win here at home. They have won 8 out of 8 in their league lately which means they are well in form and a team like that should get this. We will be backing Inter to win and trading out after they take the lead.
Our Trading Result:
We backed Inter at 1.90. Inter got the first goal after just 29 minutes and gave us the trade out odd we needed. Although Valencia got an equaliser in the second half Inter again gave odds to trade out on by taking the lead again soon after.

Profit made on this trade = £33

Date: 22nd February
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: UEFA Cup
Teams: Newcastle v Zulte-Waregem - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
The first leg of this match saw Newcastle steamroller their oponents away from home and there should be no reason why the same will not happen at home. The visitors will be looking to make up a 2 goal defecit here so expect an attacking game and they may well leave the back door open for Newcastle on a couple of occasions. We'll be backing over 2.5 goals on this match and tradeing out after the first or second goal depending on when they are scored and what the odds allow.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 1.61. This one didn't go to plan at all as the only goal came from Newcastle after 68 minutes and the odds didn't drop low enough to get out with a profit.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 24th February
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Middlesbrough v Reading - SCORE: 2-1
Our Recommendation:
Reading are on fire at the moment and have quite comfortably won their last 4 matches against lower flight teams and Middlesbrough should be a good contest for them. We fancy Reading will do well here even though they are away and we should see plenty of goals. We're backing the over 2.5 goals market here (around 1.95) and will be looking to trade out after the first or second goal hopefully in the first half when the odds allow.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 1.98. Middlesbrough made the first strike after 7 minutes and that goal gave us trade out odds of 1.54 securing our profit. For anyone that missed the trade out the second goal came late in the second half and gave odds around 1.95 to get out with a very small profit. Final goal came at the very end of the match.

Profit made on this trade = £36

Date: 24th February
Time: 5.15pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Watford v Everton - SCORE: 0-3
Our Recommendation:
Watfords woes continue having won just 2 games at home this season and sitting at the bottom of the table. They now have to face Everton who have also had a rocky time of late so the odds are very nicely evened out on these two. There should be a winner in this one and we'd expect a low scoreline from them so laying the draw or backing under 2.5 goals should be a good investment here. We're laying the draw (around 3.30) however as the under 2.5 goals odds are not great and it's by no means a certainty that the result will be correct. We should be able to trade out for a profit on this one no matter who scores first.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.40. Everton got the first goal in the first half after 23 minutes and before the market settled into play again they got another goal from a penalty. An absolute dream for us and the odds to trade out on were 14.00 securing us a massive £76 profit on an Everton or Watford win or £19 on the draw. Wish they all went this way.

Profit made on this trade = £76

Date: 25th February
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Tottenham v Bolton - SCORE: 4-1
Our Recommendation:
Both of these are great at taking and maintaining leads and it is rare either team settle for a 0-0 draw so this is a perfect match to lay the draw (around 3.60) and trade out after the first goal. We'll ideally see Tottenham get the first as the odds are slightly in their favour and our profit will be better but we should be able to profit no matter who gets the first here.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on at 3.50. The first goal came after 11 minutes and we missed the trade out odds unfortunately but the second and third goals came very soon after at 19 and 21 minutes which we got out on. Almost 100% profit on this one due to the closeness of the 2nd & 3rd goals and a fantastic profit.

Profit made on this trade = £87

Date: 27th February
Time: 8.05pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Reading v Man Utd - SCORE: 2-3
Our Recommendation:
These two have had a great run in the league lately with both winning 4 of their last 5 games and of course they drew last time in the FA Cup. This will be a great game and being Man Utd the likelyhood is they will win but this will not be an easy game for them. The odds are perfect for laying the draw at 3.65 and we really want Man Utd to get the first goal to get a good profit and that is our prediction here. If Reading do get the first goal the odds will probably not be good enough to trade out on so we'll have to wait for either a second goal from Reading, the odds to raise later in the game or Man Utd to equalise and then take the lead. We shouldn't see a draw here though at full time.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this market at 3.70. Man Utd did us proud by scoring 3 times in the first 6 minutes and before the odds had settled after the first 2 goals the market was suspended again. With a 3 goal head start we decided to get out at the available odds of 50.00 and secured £92 on this one, almost 100% profit in just 6 minutes. Luck sometimes plays a part in trading too!

Profit made on this trade = £92

Date: 28th February
Time: 8.00pm
Fixture: FA Cup
Teams: Blackburn v Arsenal - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
Another 2 teams that drew last time and again with this one we think there will be a winner but as they drew 0-0 last time and Arsenal are now away this should end with a low scoreline so we'll be backing under 2.5 goals on this one. The ideal for us would be no goals in the first half and we'll be looking to get out of the trade after 40-45 minutes. If there is a goal we'll need to wait until the second half for the odds to drop further for us.
Our Trading Result:
We backed under 2.5 goals at 1.72. After 42 minutes there were still no goals and we got out of the trade at 1.28 securing a nice little profit. The match continued without a goal all the way to 87 minutes when Blackburn got their winner.

Profit made on this trade = £37
