Trades Completed in Detail

Date: 2nd December
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Portsmouth v Aston Villa - SCORE: 2-2
Our Recommendation:
These two have both performed this season and this will be a great end to end game. Portsmouth have only lost 1 game at home this season (to Bolton who are sandwiched between these two) and Villas away record is not great so it could well go Portsmouths way but Villa also are the masters of the draw. It will be a tight game so we're backing the draw (around 3.40) here and planning to trade out between 30-45 minutes as long as there isn't a goal. If there is (probably Villas goal) we'll be looking to get out after an equaliser.
Our Trading Result:
We backed the draw at 3.30. The trade out was available all the way till the 37th minute goal and we failed to get out just before it so had to wait till the equaliser early in the second half. The match ended in a 2-2 draw so there were 3 oportunities to trade out on this one if you missed the first.

Profit made on this trade = £40

Date: 2nd December
Time: 5.15pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Middlesbrough v Man Utd - SCORE: 1-2
Our Recommendation:
Man Utd have had a great season away from home and theres no reason why they shouldn't continue winning, especially against Middlesbrough who have struggled both home and away. The odds here are quite generous on the draw so we will be laying the draw (around 4.40) and trading out after Man Utd score first which is our prediction. If Middlesbrough do get a goal first we may be in trouble as the odds won't be good enough to trade out on as everyone will be expecting an equaliser from Man Utd. If this happens in the first half there will be plenty of time for Man Utd to get back to a winning position though.
Our Trading Result:
We were late getting our lay on this match and got our lay bet on the draw on this one at 3.75 about 11 minutes into the match. Damn traffic! Man Utd never let us down and scored the first from a penalty after kust 19 minutes. We traded out for a huge profit at odds of 8.00. Nice.

Profit made on this trade = £60

Date: 3rd December
Time: 4.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Everton v West Ham - SCORE: 2-0
Our Recommendation:
We were going to go for under 2.5 goals on this one but the odds are only around 1.60 so not really worth the risk. We're going to lay the draw (around 3.40) again on this one as there should be a winner out of these two and definitely a goal. Our feeling is that Everton will probably get the first and close up to retain the lead. Both teams have had a few unpredictable results at home and away this season so it could go to either team here. The ideal result for us is a goal first by Everton as that will give a better profit but it shouldn't matter who scores.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at 3.30 on this one. Everton got the goal we needed in the second half and gave great odds to trade out on of 5.30. Nice profit again although we had to wait till half way through the second half.

Profit made on this trade = £40

Date: 5th December
Time: 8.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Charlton v Blackburn - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
The odds on this match are so perfectly balanced for laying the draw we couldn't resist it. Lay the draw (around 3.35) and trade out after the first goal. It doesn't matter who scores the goal we'll get decent odds and a nice little profit. Both these teams have had a rocky time and Charlton are floundering at the bottom of the table which means they will be going for a win while playing a lowish team in the league. This often results in a goal against as they push too far forward to quick or alternatively a goal for them for pretty much the same reasons. Should see a winner here.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw on this match at 3.45. Unfortunately this one didn't go to plan and ended in a 0-0 draw with just seconds to go and we'd written it off. By the luck of the gods Charlton scored with seconds left and truned a loss into 100% profit. Sometimes you need a bit of luck when trading and this proves it!

Profit made on this trade = £100

Date: 6th December
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Newcastle v Reading - SCORE: 3-2
Our Recommendation:
Newcastle do not have a great home record (in fact not a great record at all at the moment) and Reading are on a roll winning their last 4 matches. There should be a goal here but theres a good chance it will come from Reading who are not the favourites. We're going to do something a little different on this match with a view to making a high profit trade. We'll be backing Reading (around 4.20) and trading out after they hopefully take the lead. This is of course a high risk trade as there are two possible downfalls for us, these being no goals or a goal by Newcastle first.
Our Trading Result:
We backed Reading at odds of 4.00. Newcastle scored first but Reading got the equaliser pretty quickly. Reading then took the lead as we expected before the end of the secong half and we traded out by laying Reading at 1.90 with £210 giving us a fantastic profit no matter what haapened.

Profit made on this trade = £110

Date: 9th December
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Watford v Reading - SCORE: 0-0
Our Recommendation:
Reading came close to a victory in their last match and they should get the better of Watford. The odds on this one are stacked nicely for laying the draw (around 3.35) which is our recommendation. We'll be backing the draw after the first goal which will probably come from Reading but no matter who scores the odds should be good enough to get a profit.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this match at 3.35. A very uneventful game and an unfortunate result for us with a 0-0 draw meaning we lost the trade we were waiting for. Reading had a few good oportunities which were wasted so we're on to the next with some profit to make up.

Profit made on this trade = £-235

Date: 9th December
Time: 5.15pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Bolton v West Ham - SCORE: 4-0
Our Recommendation:
West Ham are having a terrible season and their away record so far shows no victories. Bolton have a fairly good record at home and as the odds are good on the draw we're laying the draw again on this match at odds of around 3.70. Backing after the first goal which should be Boltons will give a great profit for us. If West Ham get ahead first which is unlikely we will have to wait for the odds to get out on but it's unlikely this one will end as a draw.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw on this one at 3.95. Bolton scored the first goal after just 18 minutes and gave us the odds we needed to get out of the trade at a fantastic 6.60. Nice profit on this one and quick too. If only we'd have known Bolton would slam another 3 home on top of that. Could have stayed in for 100% profit!

Profit made on this trade = £47

Date: 10th December
Time: 4.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Chelsea v Arsenal - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
This is a real test for both teams and Chelsea will need to win this to stop them falling any further behind Man Utd. We're expecting both teams to come out looking for a goal so we're going against the grain on this match and backing over 2.5 goals in the match. Odds should be around 2.46 and we'll be trading out after the first goal as long as odds allow. We should see a goal within 30 minutes which should secure our profit for the trade.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals on this match at 2.82. Unfortunately the goals were very late coming in this match and they weren't scored until the end of the second half so we couldn't get the odds we needed to make much profit on the trade. The second goal showed odds around what we initially backed at and our bet was matched at 2.56. Not a great profit at all unfortunately on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £10

Date: 13th December
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Wigan v Arsenal - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
Both of these teams have had a slightly bumpy time recently and both are fairly low scoring as well. With the odds on the draw around 3.90 this loooks like another good match to lay the draw on and trade out after the first goal. Arsenal although away are expected to get this one and there is a good chance of them scoring first to get our trade out. If Wigan get the first the odds probably won't be good enough for us in all likelyhood so we may have to wait for the odds to drop.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw on this match at 3.75. The goal took a long time to come but Arsenal didn't let us down and got the goal we needed late in the second half giving us odds to trade out on of 18.00 which provided a fantastic profit for us on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £80

Date: 14th December
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: UEFA Cup
Teams: Tottenham v Dinamo Buch - SCORE: 3-1
Our Recommendation:
This is the last match in the group stage for these two and Tottenham are top of the table at the moment. Dinamo are way ahead in their domestic league at the moment and are just behind Tottenham in the UEFA group so there is all to play for with these two as the winner of this match will win the group. Tottenham will probably try to play a safe game and being away will be happy with a draw so we're backing the draw (around 3.70) on this one and will be looking to get out of the trade at around 30-40 minutes into the first half without any goals. If there is a goal we'll have to wait and hope for an equaliser but defending the top position and not conceding early will be Tottenhams game plan here so don't expect too many goals.
Our Trading Result:
We backed the draw at 3.55 on this one. This one went completely wrong. Tottenham came out guns blazing and were 2-0 up before we could blink. That meant we couldn't get out and lost this one.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 16th December
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Reading v Blackburn - SCORE: 1-2
Our Recommendation:
Reading have a good chance here to climb a little higher in the table with this match. Arsenal and Portsmouth should end with a winner so a win here for them could see them jump above one of them. Blackburn have only won once away from home this season so we should see a winner in this one and the odds on the draw are great at around 3.60 so we'll be laying the draw and trading out by backing it after the first goal. Reading scoring should see a nice profit while a Blackburn goal should still give us a profit although a little smaller.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw on this match at 3.35. Reading got the first goal for us and ensured we got out with a profit at odds of 4.90. Blackburn came back valiantly and got 2 in the second half securing their vicory.

Profit made on this trade = £40

Date: 16th December
Time: 5.15pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Aston Villa v Bolton - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
Bolton and Villa are having good seasons so far and Villa have been the draw masters this season with more than half of their matches ending in draws. Both teams will see this as a great oportunity to get a win however as like Reading they can gain a few places today and put the oposition a few more places behind them. The odds again here are great for us on the draw at around 3.25. We're laying the draw again here and it shouldn't matter who scores as it's pretty even and we'll be able to get a profit by backing the draw after the first goal. Be carefull with this one though as Villa like a score draw so it's adviseable to get out as soon as possible in case an equaliser comes quickly.
Our Trading Result:
We got the lay on this one at 3.35. Bolton got the goal we were waiting for after 75 minutes and gave us great odds to trade out on of 5.40. Another nice easy profit for us.

Profit made on this trade = £44

Date: 17th December
Time: 1.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Everton v Chelsea - SCORE: 2-3
Our Recommendation:
This is a match Chelsea must win if they are to keep the pressure on Man Utd at the top of the table. We're expecting a win from them but there won't be too many goals in this one. We'd like to back the under 2.5 goals market on this but the odds are only about 1.77 so not really worth it. We're going to lay the drawn here instead (around 4.40) and we'll be backing after the first goal which should be Chelseas. If Everton get the first we'll have to stick in there as the odds probably won't allow a trade out but this should go to Chelsea first.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw on this one at 4.00. Everton got the first in this match and unfortunately we didn't get the odds we needed for a trade out as we expected. There were more goals than we thought in this one and the odds for the trade out didn't come until Chelsea got their third towards the end of the second half. We got out at 28.00 securing a fantastic profit.

Profit made on this trade = £86

Date: 17th December
Time: 4.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: West Ham v Man Utd - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
This one should be fairly easy for Man Utd but West Ham can every so often pull a great match out of the bag against a superior team. We're going to be expecting a few goals in this one so will be backing the over 2.5 goals market (around 2.04) and trading out hopefully in the first half. If there is an early goal in ledd than 15-20 minutes it may be worth staying in the trade and hoping a second comes in the first half. This will give the best odds for us to trade out on.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at odds of 2.00. We got this one wrong but what a fantastic result for West Ham. They squeezed a goal out of Man Utd in the second half which meant unfortunately we lost our trade.

Profit made on this trade = £-100

Date: 20th December
Time: 7.45pm
Fixture: Carling Cup
Teams: Newcastle v Chelsea - SCORE: 0-1
Our Recommendation:
We'll be laying the draw on this match at odds around 4.00. Chelsea should have a good chance of winning this although away to Newcastle. Newcastles home record until recently has not been great and facing Chelsea just after a 1-0 defeat to them last week will not spur them on. We can't rule out Newcastle scoring however but there should be a winner here and we're expecting a Chelsea goal first.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw at great odds before the off of 3.50. Chelsea scored as expected but not till half way through the second half. The odds rocketed to a nice 11.50 and we traded out for a great profit.

Profit made on this trade = £70

Date: 22nd December
Time: 8.00pm
Fixture: Championship
Teams: C Palace v Sunderland - SCORE: 1-0
Our Recommendation:
Palace and Sundeland are both having rocky seasons and neither has managed to get a steady foothold so far. Both have had good scoring games and there aren't too many draws for them as they are both fairly attacking teams. We'll be laying the draw on this match as the odds should be around 3.50 and backing after the first goal to generate our profit. It shouldn't matter who scores first here but Palace should give us a slightly better profit.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this match at 3.45. The winner came from Palace after 41 minutes which gave us our trade out and profit. Another nice easy profit for us in the first half of the match.

Profit made on this trade = £42

Date: 26th December
Time: 1.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: West Ham v Portsmouth - SCORE: 1-2
Our Recommendation:
Portsmouths away record isn't fantastic but neither is West Hams home record. We're expecting a winner here. The Hammers can't be ruled out at home and they often have a surprise or two for higher placed teams. The odds on this one are perfect for laying the draw and backing after the first goal. Ideally it will come from West Ham for maximum profit but it shouldn't matter who gets the first in this one.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this match at 3.45. Pompey got the first goal in the first half and gave us the odds we needed to trade out although not a fantastic profit on this one. Pompey got a second towards the end of the first half and gave odds much higher to trade out at.

Profit made on this trade = £20

Date: 27th December
Time: 8.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Charlton v Fulham - SCORE: 2-2
Our Recommendation:
The last time these two met Fulham came off best at home and now is a great oportunity for the roles to be reversed. There will be a winner here if it isn't Charlton and we should see a couple of goals scored. The odds are perfect for laying the draw and backing after the first goal. Charlton scoring first will see the best profit for us.
Our Trading Result:
We got our lay bet on this match at 3.40. Fulham got the first early in the first half and only gave odds of 3.75 to get out on. We stuck in the trade and only a few minutes later Charlton scored an equalizer forcing us to wait for another goal. Charlton got ahead as we expected just before half time and we got out of the trade at 4.20.

Profit made on this trade = £16

Date: 30th December
Time: 12.45pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Charlton v Aston Villa - SCORE: 1-1
Our Recommendation:
We traded on Charlton earlier in the week and they didn't let us down so are doing it again. Both of these are underperforming at the moment and with Villa being the masters of the draw (not 0-0 though) we should see a goal or two here. The odds on the draw are absolutely perfectly balanced so we're laying the draw and backing out of the trade after the first goal. It won't matter who scores here. Won't be a huge profit on this one but should be an easy one.
Our Trading Result:
We layed the draw on this one at 3.35. Villa scored the first goal in the first half and gave trade out odds of 3.85 which we took and made our profit. Unfortunately the score ended in a draw so we only made a smll profit on this match.

Profit made on this trade = £7

Date: 30th December
Time: 3.00pm
Fixture: Premiership
Teams: Chelsea v Fulham - SCORE: 2-2
Our Recommendation:
Chelsea are on a run of scoring lots at the moment and Fulham have had quite a few games the same way lately too. With Chelsea drawing recently they will be eager for a win here to make sure they keep up with Man Utd so attacking will be their main goal. We will be backing over 2.5 goals here (around 1.75) and trading out when odds allow. This should be before the end of the first half.
Our Trading Result:
We backed over 2.5 goals at 1.71. Fulham scored after just 16 minutes which gave the trade out odds needed for a profit at 1.33. With the underdogs scoring first it was looking like Chelsea would get a goal and equalize which they did after 25 minutes. We got out after this goal at odds of 1.17 dn a nice profit. The game ended with over 2.5 goals so you could have stayed in for 100% profit on this one.

Profit made on this trade = £40
